It offers the results of the latest study of ship maneuvering simulation in real time for the "evaluation of the docks of the port of Veracruz", made in the year 2005 by the Integral port administration of Veracruz with public resources and services which relates to the operation of vessels.

The main objective of the study of manoeuvrability was to develop the most realistic scenario for port pilots carried out the maneuvers of dockage and moorage safely on the docks that at that time they would build or modify, in order to develop refined tactics to maneuver large ships that they would receive once completed works.

Also they become available "Technical criteria for the berthing of ships and conditions for the closure of the port navigation" and the "criteria technical for the provision of the service of trailer", which were included as annexes XVI and XVII in the rules of operation of the port of Veracruz.
