The luxury cruise Quest for Adventure arrived in Veracruz
Veracruz.- October 22, 2012. – This morning, the luxury cruise Quest for Adventure arrived in Veracruz, with over 400 tourists on board and about 200 crew.
This is a newly renovated boat coming from the port of Progreso, Yucatan and berthed at the “Tourist Dock” at 7:30 am. After 12 hours of stay in the city, it will continue its journey through the Mexican Caribbean on the evening.
Liverpool, England is the port of origin of the cruise ship and its itinerary includes the most important tourist ports in the Caribbean.
According to the data sheet, the ship has a length of 142 meters and 22 meters beam, a gross weight of 18 tons and reaches a speed of 20 knots.
"Its small size is intended to provide a relaxed, intimate and welcoming shipboard environment. In addition to the carefully chosen destinations, traditional services of luxury cruises, such as food and first class entertainment are included. "
Authorities of the Administracion Portuaria, the City Council of Veracruz and the tourism service providers gave a warm welcome to the visitors who toured the downtown and nearby archaeological and historical sites such as Antigua and Cempoala.
