Export of the Fit 2014

Veracruz, View., 20 March of 2014.- Honda de Mexico began today by this port exporting its Fit model 2014, Assembly at its new plant in Celaya, Guanajuato.

The first batch of exports made by 595 cars was embarked this afternoon on the ship "Cosmos Ace” bound for the United States market.

The Director General of the administration port Integral de Veracruz (APIVER), Juan Ignacio Fernandez Carbajal, He appreciated the confidence of Honda Mexico for choosing the port of Veracruz as export platform.

He recalled that the port of Veracruz is the national leader in the movement of motor vehicles; last year handled, in import and export, 750 thousand units, the tell, 67 percent of all the cars that were mobilized by maritime Customs.

He said that the projection for this year is to mobilize 900 thousand cars to endorse national leadership in this segment of load, Thanks to the privileged location of the port for exports and investments made by APIVER in port infrastructure and services.

On the other hand, Oscar Lopez, Logistics Manager of Honda Mexico, He recalled that just last February was in operation the mass production of the Honda Fit in the new plant in Celaya, Guanajuato, and have planned for this year to export 100,000 units of which the 40 per cent they will leave the port of Veracruz.
